Biotrue has been a leading developer of data management solutions oriented toward public sector agencies and nonprofits for over four years. In 2002 Biotrue began to collaborate with scientists at the UCSF Comprehensive Cancer Center and The J. David Gladstone Institutes to develop a prototype data management solution to manage the massive flood of biomedical research data generated by modern instrumentation and techniques. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has supported the development of the CDMS and related solutions with nearly $1 million in grant funding.
